Drafts.

Front Cover.

Double page spread.

Contents page.

I took the fonts and colours that I am going to use on my front cover and incorporated them onto a front cover draft. The masthead has a suitable house-style to the genre, but I think it will look better as part of the banner or slogan. The slogan has a very suitable style but as a smaller size doesn't not look as good, it does have the aggressive edge and 'in your face' tone to it. The cover-story is in a small font and looks too 'plain' to be in the middle of the page, the font should stand out more to attract the attention of the audience. The banner is a suitable place on the page, but the colours do not mix well and it does not stand out clearly.

I again, used the fonts and colours I am going to use on my final draft of my contents page and changed them too see what they would look like. The title looks too plain and should stand out more, as well as the words for the pages, it looks too complicated too read and might confuse the readers, I believe that this style font would look better as the title rather than being put for the words. The banner at the bottom follows the same colour and font scheme as the front page, but the colour of the font is not very clear against the black background, although the font adds a aggressive and 'rocky' style to the page, the colours don't work.

I have used the same font for the text that I am going to use on my final draft because I think the font is easy to read and simple to use for the pages. The banner again, is the same as the front and contents page because they should be the same to attract the audience and for them too know what it is. I also kept the numbers the same as well as the 'Hear The Drum' title on the bottom of the page. The title on the page looks too 'plain' and doesn't have much of the 'rocky' edge and aggressive style that it needs to attract the audience to the page.
